Wipe case covers

These wipe case covers are fun and practical and make a great shower gift! I covered each top of the case with a small amount of quilt batting. I measured enough fabric to covers all areas almost like you are wrapping a present. All fabric is hot glued on. After all fabric is hot glued on, I placed black trim around the edges for a more finished look, and a pink bow on top.

Ribbon flip flops

These are my ribbon flip flops, my little girls love them and I love how I can cordinate them with any outfit!

Boutique style burp cloths

I decided to make my own burp cloths for our little one, set to arrive in May! They are so much softer for baby, and so much cuter than store bought cloths! And the best part...they are so super easy to make!!!

Princess flower canopys

I have always wanted to so something with our little girls' room. I don't want to spend a lot doing it, I want to get a lot for a little pretty much! So I have tried lots of different things, wall decals, window treatments, furniture changes, ect...This idea came to me after seeing a home make over show where they did something similar...but a little more fancy. It's so easy! I decided to use two curtain rods. Both placed on the ceiling, one at the head of the bed and one at the foot of the bed. I purchased 10 yards of tulle (using my 40% off coupon at Joanns), and 4 bunches of fake flowers. I used 5 yards of tulle for each canopy. I took apart the flowers, removed all stems and bunches. I hot glued the flowers on in random places, and ended up hot glueing on a length of ribbon at the end of the canopy to help hold it in place since it's such a light fabric. And voila! I have more plans for the room, this is a start.

Upcycled Shirt dresses

I decided to make these shirt dresses for my little ones after going through their closets and finding so many things that would be going into boxes for hand me downs later on down the road. I thought to myself, "Why not add a few simple ruffles to the ends of a t shirt to create a great twirly dress?" And since my little girls love dresses, it was a no brainer! They were so easy to make! For this project, I did not cut any fabric off of the shirts, I simply cuts strips of different fabrics, pleated, pinned and sewed. I was finished with both shirt dresses in a little over an hour! So don't throw those shirts away!! Upcycle them!

Zebra print inspired baby shower invites

I was inspired to make these baby shower invites after seaching and searching for the perfect "theme" for the shower. But who needs a specific theme! I want the shower to be girly and fun! So I was inspired to make these invites after coming across some zebra print scrapbook paper. Now the entire shower will revolve around hot pink, black and zebra print! Fun fun! The invites were relativley easy to create the longest part was all the cutting. More pictures and ideas from the shower to come!
